One in five people in Los Angeles County experience food insecurity.
During this unprecedented time where the need for food distribution is on the rise, we wanted to partner with local organizations that can get food on the tables of people in need immediately. This season we are pledging to donate a percentage of proceeds to LA Food Bank and other charities helping during the COVID-19 crisis.
LA Food Bank’s mission is to mobilize resources and make sure that no one goes hungry. They distribute food to 300,000 people per month including children, seniors, families and others in need around the city.
Since 1973, LA Food Bank has distributed more than 1.2 billion pounds of food. Through donations, partnerships and volunteers they are able to provide food as well as fight to support legislation and policies to reduce hunger locally.
